Real Gold

For a simple yet oh-so-fancy look, try a top coat with real gold flecks in it. Yes, you heard correctly. It’s possible to put precious metals in a top coat. This is a nice effect that’s not too overpowering and adds a little punch to your regular polish.

Matte

Matte top coats are all the rage on the streets and runways and can turn any nail colour you own into something that’s a little different. It’s also a subtle effect that will go great with fall outfits or accessories. For extra luxe nails, try it out on your darkest blues, purples, reds or blacks.

Crackle

This one has been around for a while, but who says you can’t still rock it? Prints are always a fashion trend this season and your nails shouldn’t be left out of that. Rock a crackle top coat over a bright neon blue or pink for the most drama.

Caviar

Who ever thought inspiration for nails would come from fish eggs? Not me. But it looks totally awesome and it’s super easy to pull off. Glitter

Let’s go back to the sixth grade when sparkle polish was literally the only polish we wore. Because honestly, it’s still super rad. You can wear a few coats of glitter polish all by itself, on top of your favourite colour, or apply it to the tips of your nails with a makeup sponge for a cool frosted effect.
